		<description>The problem with the guy who admits to knowing nothing is that he says he knows nothing &lt;em&gt;by choice&lt;/em&gt;. He purposefully remains ignorant of political matters, making our representative government less representative. If it was only this guy doing it, it wouldn&#039;t be such a big deal, but when his attitude is embraced by many it can cause serious problems.

Yes, it&#039;s more responsible to not vote than to vote, if you don&#039;t know what you&#039;re voting for. But it&#039;s still loads less responsible than actually making an effort to educate yourself and then voting.</description>

And I&#039;d rather the guy who flips a coin didn&#039;t vote, even if it would lower the participation rate. An ignorant vote is worse than none at all.</description>
